late July update: add Tinkers Valley Farm, LLC to the list of new vendors this year!

early August update:

add

Schmucker's Super Sauce and Richard's Apiary!

late August update: add Jo Jo's Pastry Works

September update: add

Ninny's Chicago Style Hot Dogs and Domzalski Farm

  • Farmer Dan has run his own 'end-of-the-drive' farm stand in Glenwillow for years. Now he'll be bringing his broccoli, cabbages, and collard greens to us!
  • Schmucker's Super Sauce is a commercial product, bottled in Orwell, Ohio. It will be sold at our market by Kathy Knapik, our school nurse from Dodge School. The super sauce is a pepper relish and comes in mild and hot varieties. Great on hot dogs and more! Free samples!
  • Richard Botamer is a honey producer from nearby Solon, and has been on our 'wait list' to get a booth at the market for years!
  • Baker John and his sister Kitty run an ODA-inspected home bakery in Solon
  • The Bellville Family of Aurora has always wanted to run a hot dog stand, and now they do! Come taste how they load & eat their 'dogs' in Chicago!
  • Farmer Jim grows lots of veggies and flowers!

  • We've been trying for years to find a goat cheese producer for our market, but since this is a highly specialized product,

and there are only 2 producers in all of Northeast Ohio, it's been a challenge.

GOOD NEWS!!

The multi-award-winning Mackenzie Creamery, out of nearby Hiram, has found a way to clone themselves, and be in two places at one time!

Owner Jean Mackenzie could never make it to our market, because she was busy attending another market she had previously committed to.

(This happens a lot in the farmers' market world!)

BUT, thanks to 2 Twinsburg residents who happen to love goat cheese, and happen to be friends with Jean,

AND happen to be available on Thursday afternoons to man her booth here,

WE will all be able to taste and purchase her award-winning cheeses here at the Twinsburg market!!! YEA!!!

(whew! now that was a run-on sentence!)

  • Also joining us are Hudson farmers, Fred and Chris Thaxton, of Thaxton's Organic Garlic.

Both assure me that they grow 13 different varieties of garlic!!!

I must confess, I didn't even know there were 13 varieties of garlic, did you?

Since the growing season is short for this specialty crop, I'd suggest checking your cookbooks for garlic recipes now!

They'll only be with us the month of July, unless they have a super-bumper crop.

Can't wait to try some samples!

  • Third on my list, I'm proud to introduce Monika Reed of Reminderville, owner of Cakes and More by Moni.

The first taste of Moni's marble pound cake was enough to convince me to add her to our market. I'm sure you'll enjoy both meeting her, and tasting her cakes! She assured me she'll bring samples, too!

  • More good news, this time for all you dog owners! Doggie treats are back! New to baking and selling them
are a Twinsburg mother and daughter team who've named their business, Mulligan's Munchies.

They'll be joining us on July 9th and 23rd, just to get their feet wet in the market business.

  • My list keeps getting longer! Also expected and new this year will be the apples, peaches, pears, and plums from
Vincent Orchards in Salem, Ohio. Thought we could always use a little more fruit at the market!

They are coming a LONG way, so please make them welcome!

  • And speaking of LONG ways to come, we also want to welcome Bluebird Meadows from Sullivan, Ohio.

Where's Sullivan, you ask? Why southern Lorain County, that's where!

Chris and Julie will be bringing their grass-fed pork and beef, (fresh frozen, of course), along with their strawberries (if they last that long)  and fresh-made jams and jellies (in season). They have fresh brown eggs, as well; can't wait!

  • Last, but not least, is KJ Greens, who specialize in hydroponically-grown vegetables. Jeremy tells me to expect
purple-speckled sweet potatoes!!! Can't imagine such an animal, but we'll all see, won't we?!

  • There are more surprises in store.....maybe even a few more new vendors.....keep checking back to this website for updates!

THIS JUST IN!!! ADD 4* MORE!!!!

See, I told you we were growing by leaps and bounds!

  • For all of you who will be needing a mini-massage due to carrying your heavy purchases, we have just the thing!

Dr. Jeremy Hozjan from Pinnacle Chiropractic here in Twinsburg

has taken a booth to offer you FREE chair massages!

Now that's a stimulus offer!

  • Bow Wow Gifts, LLC will be returning! (*Lisa's really not brand new, but she hasn't been back in 2 years.) Her
homemade dog treats are now featured year-round here in Twinsburg at K9 Piper's Place, Ltd. (former location of Millsville Cafe)

  • Bring your gardening questions and insect problems with you (NOT LITERALLY!!!) to seek advice from the wonderful volunteer

Summit County Master Gardeners.

You might even pick up a packet of free seeds!

They won't be able to make it to every market, so while you have the chance,

 take advantage of their expertice!

That's TEN NEW VENDORS!!! WOW!!!

Plus all of our wonderful RETURNING ONES!

Check below to see if your favorite vendor from last year will be returning!
